'Noel' is a bright new retelling of the age-old
Christmas Story. All the usual Christmas characters are present: the
Roman soldiers proclaiming the census, the three (or is that four?)
kings travelling by camel, the shepherds, the innkeeper and of course
Joseph and his family.

A Christmas Carol is probably Charles Dickens’ most
accessible novel and appeals to both adults and children. This musical
is faithful to the spirit and detail of the original story and retains
all the charm and vitality.

...fits firmly into the category of family entertainment, being intelligent enough for the adults and fun enough for children. This is an extremely good show, with good songs, representing a triumph for adaptor, songwriter and director Mike Carter – who I will now call the Lionel Bart of Brighton – he has created a crisp two hours of fun, without losing Dicken’s message. You will leave with warm feeling toward the world – and probably humming a tune or two – a carol worth making a song and dance about

Cheers and thanks for your assistance with this show (Turn Around Dick).

Nativity was a fantastic show that was enjoyed by everyone involved from the cast and crew to the parents and the audience. The musical is completely adaptable to a large range of age groups. The backing track resources and convenient set designs make it easy to produce on any scale for any age and budget. My students thoroughly enjoyed it.
