A Christmas Carol

We are half way through our run of A Christmas Carol and the audiences are loving it. So is the cast of 38!!!!!

Jane Sherwood AUST

...fits firmly into the category of family entertainment, being intelligent enough for the adults and fun enough for children. This is an extremely good show, with good songs, representing a triumph for adaptor, songwriter and director Mike Carter – who I will now call the Lionel Bart of Brighton – he has created a crisp two hours of fun, without losing Dicken’s message. You will leave with warm feeling toward the world – and probably humming a tune or two – a carol worth making a song and dance about

Alice in Wonderland

Hi, I was the musical director for Bay Theatre Players Youth Theatre for our production of Alice in Wonderland. I’m sure you are aware of the CAT awards in Canberra, but for our production received 7 nominations, including Best Show, Best supporting Actress. The Audiences were stunned at the performance - and the use of so many great feature characters made good use of the senior members of our youth theatre (as well as a fair percentage of our junior members!) Thank you for sending out your catalogue. Your material so far has been great, and it we consider the fact that you are an Australian company to be a great asset.

Bats

I just took part in Bats and I must say it was so funny, enjoyable and certainly one to perform again. I would recommend it to every school because it's lighthearted and looks brilliant!.

Stargirl. Australia

I have found Maverick Musicals to be of an exceptionally high standard in my past experience. I have directed 5 Maverick Musicals in total over the past years.

K. Walsham. Rangeview Intermediate School. NZ

You may remember sending us the script and music for Bats? Well, I just wanted to let you know that it went brilliantly and many parents said it was the best and funniest production they had seen for some time. Many thanks again for all your help and I imagine I’ll be getting in touch again soon to order some more plays!

Pat Barrett. The Ryleys School. UK

Battle of the Bands

Wow, wow, wow! What a show. The music is absolutely sensational and the script is tight, funny and relevant to the players. The students have already fully engaged with the musical as we prepare for its world premiere. It's easy to stage, but with all the impact we've become used to with shows from Steven Harris. Another hit!
